GarageCare Privacy Policy

GarageCare helps users store vehicle information, maintenance history, reminders, and related records. This policy describes the information GarageCare processes and why.

Information you provide

When you create an account, GarageCare processes your email address and authentication information through Supabase. When you use GarageCare, you may provide vehicle details such as year, make, model, VIN, mileage, maintenance records, notes, reminders, vehicle photos, and receipt or invoice attachments.

Notifications and device information

If you enable push notifications, GarageCare stores a push subscription associated with your account so maintenance reminders can be delivered to supported devices. Notifications are optional and can be disabled through your device or browser settings.

How information is used

GarageCare uses this information to provide account authentication, synchronize your garage across supported devices, display maintenance history and reminders, store attachments you choose to upload, and deliver maintenance notifications you enable. GarageCare does not need your contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers to provide these features.

Storage and service providers

Cloud account data and private uploaded files are stored using Supabase services. A local fallback copy of supported garage data may also remain on your device/browser. App hosting and delivery may use infrastructure providers used by GarageCare.

Sharing and sale of data

GarageCare does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers as necessary to operate GarageCare, or disclosed when required by law.

Retention and deletion

GarageCare retains cloud data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your GarageCare account and associated synced data from the Account area in the app or from the external account-deletion page below.

Security

GarageCare uses account authentication, database access controls, and private storage controls intended to limit access to account data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

GarageCare is a vehicle-maintenance utility and is not designed for children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as GarageCare changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
